Natálie Pleváková – Erlkönig Digital

when: 3 November 2017
venue: Důl Hlubina / Staré koupelny: Denní klub
time: 11 pm
admission free / standing room

Natálie Pleváková studies multimedia composition at the music faculty of the JAMU academy in Brno. She is currently exploring the points of departure of electronic music in the world of classical music, seeking their common denominators. Her work is typified by a seeming chaos which she calls digital narrative.

Natálie Pleváková and VJ Jan Matýsek practise digital romanticism. Thanks to the ephemerality and fluidity of the digital media, they start conversation with beings whose existence is conditioned by the media reality. For the Norma festival they prepared a multimedia project freely responding to the work of Franz Schubert.

(Extract from a Messenger dialogue in a time that only exists for one of the two)

21:34 pm, Natálie wrote to Franz Schubert:

Franz, he wrote me this:

“I’m a dried salami in water.

That’s why I want you in any gender.

You are killing your unborn child

when you say

that tadpoles are black men’s sperm.”
