Solo performance Nižinskij. “The Rite of Dreams” is a new staging of Stravinsky’s ballet which is based on the diary of Václav Nižinský.  The production portrays different states of consciousness after “The Rite of Spring” changes into “The Rite of Dreams.” Nižinsky’s diary was considered by the makers as a zealously written book of dreams experienced with an open eye. Thanks to it, they found themselves in a world which, in spite of being shaken by conflicts, is teetering on the border between ecstasy and void. The production originated within the artistic research project “Dance of the Dreaming Body” that has been directed by Slawek Krawczynsky and Anna Godowska since 2004.
